Growing up in Oklahoma can only add to the romance that Americans have had with cowboys. Almost every kid imagined growing up to be a cowboy. Ranches still exist across Oklahoma, including those around Bartlesville -- the Hughes Ranch, the Mullendore Crossbell Ranch, the Ken-Ada Ranch, the Drummond Ranch, to name a few. Parie Song Indian Territory, outside of Bartlesville, is a recreation of a western town, where visitors can still see the life of a cowboy. The Frank Phillips Ranch, Woolaroc, is still home to buffalo and other wildlife.
