Ragon Steele is a Bartlesville, OK, native, graduating from College High School in 1967. He then attended Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. Ragon graduated in 1972 with a BSED in Art. He currently teaches Art in the Oklahoma Union School system, and resides in Bartlesville.

Ragon is this year's President of the Bartlesville Art Association, where he coordinates a summer art camp for children. He also teaches basic drawing and watercolor painting classes at Bartlesville's Tri County Technology Center.

Ragon's art has been featured in Bartlesville's Heart of Town Open Air Market, OK Mozart Festival, and Sunfest.

He also enjoys teaching private art lessons in his home that he shares with his wife, Tina, and teenage boys Kyle and Brian. He has 3 grown children, Bethany, Tara and Jake, and 5 grandchildren.
